Recent reports in the news have indicated that Finning has completed the acquisition of Bucyrus from Caterpillar. What does that mean for you though? Here is what we know / have been told:

Finning has communicated to us (local 99) that you the hourly workers are going to be part of our local.

Finning has indicated that they are looking to complete the integration to the current work force by the end of 2nd quarter 2012.

We're awaiting dates from Finning HR to start discussions surrounding the integration of Bucyrus employees.
